Wakefield Quin advises Sonnedix

Wakefield Quin was pleased to advise Sonnedix, as borrower, in connection with €260 million in green loans to fund the expansion of its Italian renewable energy investments. CaixaBank acted as mandated lead arranger and green global coordinator. The multi-loan facility included greenfield project finance for the construction of two photovoltaic plants in Sicily and Sardinia with a combined capacity of approximately 200MW, together with an acquisition finance line for an operating asset in Italy.
