On 28 April, 2015 Richard Thomas Horseman was voted in as President of the Bermuda Bar Association.
Richard is a Director and Senior Counsel of Wakefield Quin Limited, having first joined the firm in 2005. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has practised both criminal and civil litigation for over 18 years. Richard previously served on the Legal Aid Council and now sits on the Professional Conduct Committee. Richard was appointed a Human Rights Commissioner in 2013.
The Bermuda Bar Association is the governing body for the legal profession in Bermuda. It was incorporated by the Bermuda Bar Act of 1974. The Association is responsible for both the regulation and discipline of members of the legal profession in Bermuda.
