Leo is a Senior Counsel in the Corporate & Finance Department at Wakefield Quin, having joined the firm in September 2025.
His practice encompasses a broad range of corporate, finance, commercial and regulatory matters, with particular expertise advising on complex international transactions and the formation, continuation and structuring of entities in Bermuda.
Experience
Leo advises a diverse client base, including private equity sponsors, multinational corporations, venture capital investors, lenders and family offices. His sector focuses are (re)insurance & ILS, natural resources and fintech.
Prior to joining Wakefield Quin, Leo practised with Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer in London. He also gained international experience at Sidley Austin in Singapore and Pinsent Masons in London.
Qualifications and Admissions
Leo holds an MA in History and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and an LLB from the College of Law, Moorgate.
Leo has been recognised as a key lawyer in The Legal 500 (2025) and was featured on the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Recognition List (2024).
