Ian Stone

Ian Stone is a Director and Senior Counsel in the Corporate Department at Wakefield Quin, advising on IPOs, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, finance and Bermuda corporate structures.

Practice Focus

Ian’s practice includes initial public offerings, public company transactions, offshore corporate and partnership structures, banking and finance, insurance and reinsurance, group restructurings and general corporate work.

Experience

Ian has extensive experience advising on complex corporate and finance transactions involving Bermuda structures. Prior to joining Wakefield Quin, he was a Partner at Halliwells in Manchester and later served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Appleby in Bermuda.

Qualifications and Admissions

LLB (Hons), University of Sheffield.

Admitted in Bermuda.
