Ian Stone

Ian Stone is a Senior Counsel in the Corporate Department and has been with Wakefield Quin Limited since 2004.  His areas of experience include IPO’s, public company and capital markets transactions, advising on offshore corporate and partnership structures, project financing, banking transactions, acquisitions and mergers, group restructuring and general corporate work.

Prior to joining Wakefield Quin Limited Ian was a Partner at Halliwells in Manchester until 1999 and senior corporate counsel at Appleby in Bermuda from 1999 to 2004.

Ian was educated in Manchester, England and at Sheffield University and  was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2004
