Mark Pettingill

Mark Pettingill is a Senior Counsel in the Litigation Department specializing in criminal litigation and has been with Wakefield Quin Limited since 1994.  

Mark was born in England and educated in Bermuda and Mount Allison University, Canada.  On his return to Bermuda in 1991 he was appointed Crown Counsel in the Attorney Generals Chambers where he worked for a year before moving into private practice.  He has been a member of the Bermuda Bar for the past 18 years specialising in criminal litigation.

In April 1999 he was appointed as a Senator and in 2001 was a Justice of the Peace in both criminal and family matters in Bermuda. He is currently a Member of Parliament.

Mark gained a Bachelor of Arts in History and English and a Bachelor of Education.  He completed his legal studies at City University London with  Honours.   He completed the Bar as a Member of Grays Inn.
